For this opera poster project I chose to do work for Monteverdi's L'Orfeo. This opera is about a man who travels through the underworld to find his recently lover carrying only a Lyre with him. Orfeo's lover Eurydice dies at the beginning of the opera from a snake bite so I felt it would be good to create something displaying the stories jumping off point rather than something that spoilers the climax or ending.
